Oil rose on Friday on a persistent supply tightness
International benchmarks for crude oil ended the week with additional gains as there is no sign of an easing energy crunch globally. As the market concluded business on Friday, 8 October 2021, US crude prices hit the highest levels in nearly seven years.
Brent gained 44 cents to close at $82.39/barrel.
WTI rose $1.05 to settle at $79.35/barrel.
