Crude oil resumed gains as tight supply comes to focus
International benchmarks for crude oil settled higher on Thursday, 14 October 2021 after the International Energy Agency said that soaring gas prices could boost oil demand among power generators, while Saudi Arabia dismissed calls for further increase in OPEC+ production output.
Brent gained 82 cents or 1% to close at $84/barrel.
WTI added 87 cents to close at $81.31/barrel.
