Emergency shutdown at Zhongmei Yulin's MTO polyolefin units
According to market sources, Zhongmei Shaanxi Yulin Energy & Chemical Co Ltd has unexpectedly shut its MTO-based PP and PE units today due to technical glitches.
Based in Shaanxi, China, the company has a MTO-based PE and PP unit each with a production capacity of 300,000 ton/year. It is expected to remain off-stream for a week for the plant’s accessories replacements.
