Sinopec Yanshan restarted PP units from maintenance

Market sources reported that Sinopec Beijing Yanshan Petrochemical Co Ltd has restarted its No.1 PP unit on 5 July 2016, No. 2 PP on last Friday (15 July 2016) and No. 3 PP on 10 July 2016 after scheduled turnaround since end of May 2016.

Based in Beijing, China, the company has No.1, No. 2 and No. 3 PP unit with production capacity of 115,000 ton/year, 75,000 ton/year and 280,000 ton/year respectively.

In addition, the company’s No. 3 PP unit has experienced unexpected technical glitches on the night of 15 July but managed to restart since yesterday (17 July 2016).
