Qatar's LLDPE and LDPE move south in China

A major Qataree producer has reportedly down adjusted their LLDPE and LDPE offers to China today in the face of stiff market resistence. Indeed, the latest offers indicated some $30/ton lower than last week to reach $1160/ton for both LLDPE and LDPE film cargoes, based on CFR China, LC at sight term.

A distributor offer on behalf of the producer commented, “Buyers were really reluctant with our previous prices last week due to weaker futures trading. And even at the current level, we have not been able to conclude any deal yet.”
