Oil settled lower on concerns over swelling supply
International benchmarks for crude oil settled lower on Thursday, 25 November 2021 as investors adopted a more cautious stance after OPEC said the US oil reserve release would swell the surplus in the oil market by 1.1 million barrels per day.
Brent slipped 8 cents to close at $82.17/barrel.
WTI dropped 36 cents to reach $78.03/barrel.
