International benchmarks for crude oil nosedived on Friday, 26 November 2021 as the emergence of the new COVID-19 variant spooked investors coupled with the concerns over the swelling supply in the next quarter.
Brent loses $9.50, or 11.6% to settle at $72.72/barrel.
WTI plunged $10,24, or 13.1% to close at $68.18/barrel.
