Oil rose more than 3% on subsiding fears of Omicron
International benchmarks for crude oil surged more than 3% on Tuesday, 7 December 2021 after reports that Omicron cases have shown only mild symptoms, which eased the market fear of the impact of the global economy.
Brent rose $2.36, or 3.2% to close at $75.44/barrel.
WTI jumped $2.56, or 3.7% to close at $72.05/barrel.
