Emergency shutdown at Sinopec Zhongyuan's units
Market sources reported that Sinopec Zhongyuan Petrochemical Co has unexpectedly shut it’s MTO, PP and PE units today due to technical glitches.
Based in Puyang, Henan Province, China, the company has a 260,000 ton/year PE unit, 60,000 ton/year PP1 and 100,000 ton/year PP2 unit. It is expected to remain off-stream for about 5 days.
