Crude oil rebounded but investors remain cautious

International benchmarks for crude oil jumped sharply on Tuesday, 21 December 2021 following news that a number of countries prefer to refrain from strict lockdowns amid a rising number of Omicron infection cases. However, investors remain cautious to monitor further development ahead. 

Brent gained $2.46 or 3.4% to close at $73.98/barrel. 

WTI rose $2.51 or 3.7% to close at $71.12/barrel.
