India's Reliance to export PE output from new plant

Reliance Industry is planning to bring its new PE plant in Jamnagar on-stream by the first quarter of 2017, and upon commercial run, the company would export up to 50% of the output, market sources reported.
Reliance’s new PE plant houses a HDPE/LLDPE swing unit with total capacity of 600,000 tons/year and a LDPE unit with capacity of 400,000 tons/year. It is reported that the company would export HDPE yarn, blow molding and injection molding; LLDPE film, roto molding, high flow and extrusion coating and LDPE general purpose, heavy duty and lamination.
A market source informed, “This would have some visible impact on the market, however we think the start up might take longer than initial schedule.”
