UPDATE: South Korea’s UPP postpones maintenance schedule

According to market sources, Ulsan Polypropylene (UPP) – a joint venture between PolyMirae Company Ltd and SK Advanced has postponed the maintenance shutdown schedule to 14 January 2022 from the initial plan on 3 January.

The 400,000 tons/year plant is expected to restart on 1 February 2022.

The company started up the PP line earlier this year and the first commercial cargoes emerged in China and Southeast Asia at the beginning of May 2021.
