Oil extended the uptrend on supply disruption
International benchmarks for crude oil rose about 2% on Thursday, 6 January 2022 following the supply outages in Libya, and the unrest in Kazakhstan even though there are no confirmations that oil production in this country have been disrupted.
Brent jumped $1.19 or 1.5% higher to close at $81.99/barrel.
WTI surged $1.61 or 2.1% to close at $79.46/barrel.
