Oil settled lower on easing concerns over Kazakhstan unrest
International benchmarks for crude oil slipped on Friday, 7 January 2022 as investors took a step back to assess the market situation after the Kazakhstan security forces restored the orders in the country. Meanwhile, the market is waiting for more economic data the gauge the demand outlook.
Brent settled down 24 cents at $81.75/barrel.
WTI slipped 56 cents to close at $78.90/barrel.
