Oil extended gains after Iraq-Turkey pipeline issue fueled supply concerns
International benchmarks for crude oil settled higher on Wednesday, 19 January 2022 after an explosion at a pipeline carrying Iraq crude to Turkey for export stirred concerns over the supply outlook amid the already tight market.
Brent gained 93 cents to close at $88.44/barrel.
WTI increased by $1.53 to close at $86.96/barrel.
