Oil dropped on positive signal from Iran-USA talks

International benchmarks for crude oil slipped on Monday, 7 February 2022 following positive signals from the Iran-US talks, which could lead to easing sanctions imposed on the former country, allowing more Iranian oil to flow to the market.
Brent loss 32 cents or 0.3% to close at $92.96/barrel.
WTI fell 78 cents or 0.8% to close at $91.53/barrel.
