Crude oil slid as Iran-US talks enter the final phase
International benchmarks for crude oil fell nearly 2% on Thursday, 17 February 2022 as US and Iran enter the final phase to revive the 2015 nuclear accord. However, the fall was limited by the still heightened tension between Russia and Ukraine.
Brent dropped $1.84 or 1.9% to settle at $92.97/barrel.
WTI slipped $1.90 or 2% to settle at $91.76/barrel.
