Oil tumbled below $100 mark as Russia signaled support to revive Iran deals

International benchmarks for crude oil tumbled below the $100 mark for the first time in nearly three weeks on Tuesday, 15 March 2022 after Russia said it would allow Iran deals to move forward while the fresh wave of lockdown in China dent demand prospect.

Brent fell $6.99 or 6.5% to close at $99.91/barrel. 

WTI slumped $6.57 or 6.4% to settle at $96.44/barrel.
