UPDATED: Japan's Mitsui restarted cracker
Market sources reported Mitsui Chemical has restarted its naphtha-based cracker in Osaka, Japan last Thursday (21 July) after completed 30 days maintenance work. The company reportedly achieve on-spec production soon after come back online.
The cracker has a designed capacity of 500,000 tons/year of ethylene and 370,000 tons/year of propylene.
