Oil edged lower as EU members opposed ban on Russian crude
International benchmarks for crude oil settled lower on Tuesday, 22 March 2022 as European Union countries are less likely to agree on the new sanctions on Russian crude oil. However, the drops were limited as the market drew support from the attack on Saudi oil facilities.
Brent shed 14 cents or 0.2% to close at $115.48/barrel.
WTI fell 36 cents or 0.3% to close at $111.76/barrel.
