International benchmarks for crude oil settled higher on Thursday, 21 April 2022 after the EU mulls over potential bans on the imports of Russian barrels while Libya continues to lose 550,000 barrel per day due to blockades at major fields and export terminals. 

Brent gained $1.53 to close at $108.33/barrel. 

WTI increased $1.60 to close at $103.79/barrel.
