Emergency shutdown at Sinopec SK's HDPE unit
According to market sources, Sinopec-SK (Wuhan) Petrochemical Company Limited has unexpectedly shut its HDPE unit yesterday (27 July 2016) due to technical glitches.
Based in Wuhan, China, the HDPE unit has a production capacity of 300,000 ton/year. It is expected to remain off-stream for about 2 days.
