Vietnamese buyers received adjustment for Saudi homo-PP injection

A major Saudi Arabia producer reportedly down adjusted their homo-PP injection prices by $20/ton to Vietnam market last Saturday, 30 July 2016, to reach $1020/ton CIF Vietnam, LC AS term while maintaining yarn grade at $1040/ton with the same term.

A buyer received the new offers commented, “It appears that the supplier is facing stronger sales pressure for homo-PP injection than other grades. We have yet to place order at the latest price level as we expect import prices to continue inching lower in the near term given weak demand.”

At the moment, import homo-PP prices to Vietnam are reported at $1020-1040/ton CIF, LC AS term.
