Major Thailand maker decrease HDPE offers to China

A major Thailand producer reportedly reduced their HDPE film offers to China today by $15/ton compared to last month to reach $1150/ton, CFR China, LC AS term. Meanwhile, its HDPE yarn offers is currently standing at $1155/t, CFR China for the similar basis.

A trader commented, “Market sentiment has turned weaker during beginning of the week as the overall market outlook remain cloudy, and most of the customers preferred to take wait and see stance. We are unsure if buyers are willing to accept these price levels but we are expecting the near term outlook to be slightly weaker.”
