International benchmarks for crude oil continue to fall on Thursday, 14 July 2022 as the market is expecting the Federal Reserve to lift key interest rate by as much as 100 basis-point this month to combat the four-decade high inflation rates. The FED policy meeting is scheduled for 26-27 July 2022.

Brent slid 47 cents to close at $99.10/barrel.

WTI dropped 52 cents to close at $95.78/barrel.

This is the third session in a row both benchmarks settled below the $100/barrel.
