Korean's YNCC shut OCU on technical issues

According to market sources, South Korea's Yeochun Naphtha Cracking Center (YNCC) unexpectedly shut its olefins conversion unit on 3 August 2016 due to mechanical glitch. It is estimated that the unit would be able to come back online by end of August.
Based in Yeosu, South Korea, the unit is designed to produce 140,000 tons/year of propylene. The OCU uses ethylene and crude C-4 as feedstock.
