Indian major cut homo-PP prices to Vietnam

According to market sources, a major Indian maker has down adjusted their homo-PP offers to Vietnam market by $20/ton compared to last week, to reach $1035/ton CIF Vietnam, LC AS term.

A distributor offer on behalf of the maker commented, “Buyers are not attracted to the new prices given the general expectation that further discounts would become available in the near term. Local market is performing weak, hence domestic traders also refrain from accepting the current offers, citing risks of negative margins.”
