Oil slid on bearish US economic data
International benchmarks for crude oil settled lower on Tuesday, 13 September 2022 after data showed US consumer prices rose unexpectedly in August, which might prompt the Federal Reserve to introduce more hefty interest rate hikes in the coming week.
Brent dropped 83 cents to close at $93.17/barrel.
WTI settled down 47 cents at $87.31/barrel.
