EIA: US commercials crude inventories rose amid continued releases from reserves

The total commercial crude oil inventories in the US rose by 2.4 million barrels last week, according to the latest data from the Energy Information Administration, as the government continued to release stocks from the Strategic Reserves. 

US gasoline inventories fell by 1.8 million barrels during the week. 

US refined product exports have averaged 6.4 million barrels over the last four weeks, about 26% higher than last year. Crude oil exports are 40% higher. 

Refineries in the country operated at 91.5% rates last week, up 0.6% from the week before.
