China's FREP reduced No. 2 PP production rate unexpectedly

Market sources reported that China’s Fujian Refining & Petrochemical Company Limited (FREP) has cut the production rate of its No. 2 PP unit to 50% today unexpectedly due to emergency shutdown at one of its reactor.

Based in Fujian, China, the No. 2 PP unit has a production capacity of 220,000 ton/year. Meanwhile, it's 330,000 ton/year No.1 PP unit has been unexpectedly shut since 05 August 2016 for 15 days.
