Emergency shutdown at PetroChina Daqing's LDPE unit
According to market sources, PetroChina Daqing Refinery and Chemical Company has unexpectedly shut its LDPE (new) unit on 8 August 2016 due to technical glitches.
Based in Daqing, China, the LDPE (new) unit has a production capacity of 200,000 ton/year. The restart schedule of the plant could not be ascertained.
