Oil rose as traders focused on the low diesel inventories ahead of winter
International benchmarks for crude oil gained about 2% on Thursday, 13 October 2022 despite the nearly 10 million barrels increased in US commercial crude inventories reported by the EIA. Traders heavily focused on the low diesel stocks ahead of the winter season which triggered buying.
Brent jumped $2.12 or 2.29% to close at $94.57/barrel.
WTI added $1.84 or 2.1% to close at $89.11/barrel.
