Major Thai maker lifted HDPE, PP prices to Vietnam

A major Thailand producer opens new prices on the first trading day of the week with increases after achieved satisfactory sales last week. The maker reportedly lifted $45/ton for HDPE film and $30/ton for HDPE blow molding to reach $1160/ton and $10/ton for PP block copolymer at $1060/ton, all based on CIF Vietnam, LC AS term.

Source close to the company informed, “We managed to conclude good number of deals for PP block copolymer; however, HDPE market is really slow. We have yet to receive any respond from the buyers on the new HDPE offers. We would continue to monitor the market before implement any adjustment. Our supply is comfortable at the moment.”
