Oil rose more than $2/barrel following a report on a drawdown in US stocks

International benchmarks for crude oil rose sharply on Wednesday, 21 December 2022 following a report from the EIA on the 5.9 million barrels dropped in the US commercial crude inventories last week while the Saudi minister backed a move to cut oil outputs.
Brent settled $2.21/barrel higher at $82.20/barrel.
WTI gained $2.06 to close at $78.29/barrel.
