Qatar's PE offers inched up in China

Chinese players reported receiving fresh PE offers from a Qatar producer with $20/ton increased from the last price opened earlier this month to reach $1175/ton for LDPE film and $1170/ton for LLDPE film, all based on CFR China, LC AS term.

A trader received the new offers commented, “Our supplier appears to have minimum sales pressure at the moment, however we worry our customers might show resistance toward such high prices. We also received offers for other Middle Eastern cargoes at slight lower prices, and we only purchased a small quantity.”
