Japan's Idemitsu to shut naphtha cracker

According to market sources, Idemitsu Kosan Co Ltd is going to shut its naphtha cracker for a scheduled turnaround on 10 September 2016. It is expected to remain off-stream until end of October 2016.

Located in Tokuyama, Japan, the cracker is able to produce 623,000 ton/year of ethylene and 450,000 ton/year of propylene.
