UPDATED: Japan's Taiyo shuts PVC for maintenance
According to market sources, Taiyo Vinyl Corporation has shut its polyvinyl chloride (PVC) unit for a scheduled turnaround since yesterday (17 August 2016).
Based in Chiba, Japan, the PVC unit has a production capacity o 90,000 ton/year. It is expected to remain off-stream for 4 weeks and expected to restart by mid of September 2016.
