International benchmarks for crude oil rebounded from 15-month lows on Monday, 20 March 2023 after the Federal Reserve and the European Central Bank pledged to ‘enhance market liquidity’ and support other banks to boost confidence in the banking system. 

Brent contracts for May delivery added 82 cents or 1.1% to close at $73.79/barrel.

WTI for April delivery, which ended on Monday, gained 90 cents or 1.4% to close at $67.64/barrel.
