International benchmarks for crude oil settled slightly higher on Tuesday, 4 April 2023 following a choppy trading session as investors take a step back to assess the impact of OPEC+'s decision to cut production outputs by 1.16 million barrels on the background of disappointing US and China economic data that signal cooling oil demand.

Brent settled 1 cent higher at $84.94/barrel.

WTI gained 29 cents to close at $80.71/barrel.
