Indonesian maker resumed lifting PP, PE offers to the domestic market
According to market sources, the upward adjustments are appropriate considering the lack of ready stocks for homo-PP yarn, HDPE, and LLDPE cargoes.
Following a surprising rollover in the previous week, a major Indonesian producer opened fresh weekly PP and PE offers over the weekend with increases to catch up with the firming trend, both at home and overseas.
The producer’s latest price list and changes compared to last week are shown in the following table:

According to market sources, the upward adjustments are appropriate considering the lack of ready stocks for homo-PP yarn, HDPE, and LLDPE cargoes. Buyers find it challenging to secure materials for July delivery from both, producers and traders at the moment.
“Fortunately, we have stocked up sufficiently to cover our production needs in the next month. Supply might loosen in August with the upcoming arrivals of imported materials,” said, a packaging manufacturer.
