Taiwan's FCFC to shut SM plant for maintenance
Market sources reported that Formosa Chemicals & Fibre Corp (FCFC) is planning to shut its No. 3 styrene monomer (SM) unit for a scheduled turnaround by 1 September 2016.
Based in Mailiao, Taiwan, the No. 3 SM plant has a production capacity of 600,000 ton/year. It is expected to remain off-stream for 30 days.
