Sinopec Zhongyuan to resume PP2 unit

According to market sources, Sinopec Zhongyuan Petrochemical Co is planning to resume the production of its PP2 unit by tomorrow (3 September 2016) after previous unexpected shutdown.

Based in Puyang, Henan Province, China, the PP2 unit has a production capacity of 100,000 ton/year. It has been shut since 13 August 2016 due to technical issues on granulator, and producing PP powder materials.
