Korean's ABS offered lower to Vietnam

Vietnamese players this week reported receiving new offers for Korean ABS at $15/ton lower than last month, reaching $1345/ton CIF Vietnam, LC AS term. This is in spite of the fact that butadiene costs based on FOB Korea term has increased $100/ton compared to earlier August while styrene monomers are firm.

A trader received the new offer commented, “Local demand is very weak at the moment and we have yet to spot any improvement signs. We are not planning to make fresh replenishment, instead, we prefer to deplete on hand stock first.”
