According to market sources, Sinopec Maoming Petrochemical Company Limited has unexpected shutdown at its HDPE unit this morning due to technical glitches.
Located at Maoming, Guangdong, China, the HDPE plant has a production capacity of 350,000 ton/year. It is expected to remain off-stream for a week.
