South Korea's KPIC to expand naptha cracker
According to market sources, Korea Petrochemical Ind. Co Ltd (KPIC) is going to expand the capacity of its naphtha cracker by April 2017.
Based in Ulsan, South Korea, the production capacity of 460,000 ton/year of ethylene and 230,000 ton/year of propylene will be raised to 800,000 ton/year and 500,000 ton/year respectively upon expansion.
