Local PP prices firmed up in Indonesia

According to regional market players, one of the Indonesian major makers has firmed up their PP offers today compared to the last offer given on Wednesday, 10 February 2016 while leaving PE prices stable. Players attributed this price increased to the tight PP supply in the market.

The latest prices and increased amounts are shown in the following table:

“We heard that offers from local distributors and traders are lower than the price list level. Overall demand is still weak but we did not see any sign of price reduction as sellers claimed that PP supply is tight at the moment,” a buyer commented.
