Indonesia's Chandra Asri mulls over shutdown at PP plant

According to market sources, Chandra Asri Petrochemical is scheduling a maintenance shutdown at its PP unit during November 2016. It is unconfirmed on the exact duration, however sources close to the company said the plant might remain offline near to a month.
Based in Cilegon, Indonesia, the company produces 480,000 tons/year of PP. At the same complex, Chandra owns a newly expanded naphtha cracker that consists of ethylene production 860,000 tons/year and propylene 470,000 tons/year.
