Indonesia's Chandra Asri to shut LLDPE lines
According to market sources, Chandra Asri Petrochemical is planning a brief maintenance shutdown at its LLDPE line by mid of next week to coup with the technical woes the company encountered couple of weeks ago. The line is expected to remain offline for about 7 days.
Based in Cilegon, Indonesia, Chandra’s PE plant consists of a HDPE/LLDPE swing unit that can produce 200,000 tons/year and a stand-alone HDPE unit with annual capacity of 136,000 tons/year.
