Thailand major rollover HDPE offers to Vietnam, cut PP prices

A major Thailand producer has announced fresh offers to Vietnam this week for October delivery at unchanged levels for HDPE. In fact, the maker maintain HDPE prices at $1155/ton for film, injection and blow molding grades while HDPE yarn stand at $1165/ton CIF Vietnam, LC AS term. PP block copolymer, however, dropped $20/ton from the earlier week to reach $1055/ton wit the same term.

Source close to the producer informed, “Demand is very weak and it seems buyers are not in the position to replenish any material. We are not that optimistic regarding the near term outlook.”
