Uzbekistan's Uz-Kor shut polyolefin units for maintenance

According to market sources, Uz-Kor Gas Chemical has shut its PP and HDPE plants since 27 September for scheduled turnaround.

Based in Uzbekistan, the company has a 387,000 ton/year of HDPE and a 83,000 ton/year of PP unit. The plants are planning to resume its productions by 10 October 2016.

Uz-Kor Gas Chemical is a joint venture between National Holding Company Uzbekneftegaz (50%) and Kogas, Lotte Group and ST-X Energy (50%).
